We specialize in creating custom, handcrafted, one-of-a-kind furniture that combines quality materials with timeless design. Our focus is on building unique pieces that fit each client’s style and space.
Do you offer fully custom furniture?
Yes, we only design and build fully custom, dare we say: bespoke furniture, tailored to your needs. We work closely with you to create pieces that build on your vision, with custom dimensions, and specific functionality.
What materials do you use in your furniture?
We primarily use high quality hardwoods and carefully selected materials to ensure durability, beauty, and long lasting performance in every piece we create.
Where is your furniture made?
We proudly build all of our furniture in our workshop here in the United States of America, in the greater Boston area, ensuring every piece meets our standards for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Can you match an existing design or style?
No, we do not “match” or replicate any existing piece. We take inspiration from other furniture and fixtures in the room, while customizing a design to complement the details and enhance your space and work well with design preferences.
What is the process of commissioning a custom piece of furniture?
Our 1st step is scheduling a free, in-home design consultation in the Greater Boston area. We can meet via video/call as an option for customers nationwide.
The 2nd step is developing sketches for presentation and review.
The 3rd step is a sketch is approved we develop and present the estimate.
The 4th step, once the estimate is approved is to bill and receive a deposit, then we begin the design/build phase.
The 5th and final step is delivery, will be scheduled and COD is required.
Can I customize the dimensions exactly to my space?
Yes, each piece is specifically designed to fit each specific space, even small or awkward, spaces are fine, we like solving functionality challenges and enhancing living spaces.
How much will this custom piece of furniture cost?
We will provide our customers with a thorough estimate to help them understand the price breakdown, including materials, labor, and delivery.
What is the estimated timeline for completion?
Our average timeline is 4-6 weeks, and you will be kept updated on progress and delivery dates during the process.
What materials (woods, fabrics, hardware) do you recommend?
We design and build in many woods, but often include metal, glass or stone. All materials are chosen with an eye towards durability, quality, and the aesthetic each client would like.
Can I see a design mockup before production?
We do not always provide 3-d mock-ups, instead, we provide sketches,and once approved we proceed to more detailed drawings that can be shared with our clients if they request them.
What is the payment schedule?
We require a 50% deposit to begin, and the final 50% upon competition (COD).
How can I ensure this matches my existing furniture?
We do not build furniture to match any existing pieces, however, each piece we build with wood species, stains, sheens, and colors to complement & enhance the rest of the room.
What type of joinery and construction methods do you use?
Each piece uses specific joinery to focus on longevity and quality.
Do you offer delivery, and a warranty or guarantee?
We include delivery, in the greater Boston area, with no additional charge for smaller pieces like end tables, coffee tables and console tables. Larger pieces may require a rental van, and those costs will be estimated and need to be approved at the estimate stage. Long-distance shipping will also be estimated and need to be approved at the estimate stage.We offer a lifetime guarantee for our furniture. This covers any fixes to the finish or structure that may be required with the natural expansion and contraction of natural materials over time. This guarantee does not include fixing deep scratches or repairing structural harm that has been caused by excessive force. We do not offer a warranty, however.
