Their chief designer, Paul, showed me a sketch with all the functionality then after I made a few revisions took me shopping for the wood for the desktop. We picked out the exact teak wood together. He also added a lot of nice touches like casters, a barstool footrest, a great drawer and hidden cubby sections (for my monitor when not in use) that I hadn’t thought of.”

I didn't want to buy something plastic, fake, or cheap from a big box store, and was psyched to find Paul and his workshop at a local art fair. He told me the wood came from his brother's yard from a downed tree. Don't you just love pieces that have a story? These are going to be in my family for generations. Paul's  keen sense of design and working with wood textures was so inviting that my wife and I were in agreement that our small dining room area needed a special table. I sent Paul the measurements of the area and we agreed to meet with him at a special woods warehouse. He arrived with a template of a "banquet table" idea that we agreed would be perfect for our dining room. Together, we selected the wood (cherry), agreed on the assembly of the textures, he laid the template atop and.... The table was delivered the same day we were moving in,  Wow, perfect fit!
